Hello all! We had two more outreach meeting in the last two weeks of November!
On November 21, we had an outreach meeting with 7th grade students at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, in Bacolod City, Philippines. I spoke about pollution, current recycling, what we do at Precious Plastic, and how students can make change in their communities. It was inspiring to engage with students on making change, and an experience I'm grateful for.
On Thanksgiving day, we spoke to the Marie Ernestine School in Cebu about sustainability. We showed a demo of how the machine worked, and the process of creating the products. These online events really have such a great way of connecting with a diversity of students!
Students from both schools indicated interest in starting their own Precious Plastic project, which is infinitely inspiring and very exciting for the future!
